I purchased these for my 74 yr old mother, who wasn't able to hear a conversation from a few feet away. Her TV was always crazy loud. We've tried different hearing aids and amplifiers, even one prescribed by a doctor. None of them have made her feel as comfortable as this set. She only uses it on her left ear and the part that actually goes into the ear makes the hearing aid feel very secure. She's able to adjust it in her ear properly, on her own, something she was not able to do with any previous models. We only needed to set it to the 1st volume level and it's as easy as pressing a small button, and hearing the corresponding beeps for the level you'd like. Mom would begrudgingly use the other hearing aids, but with this one, she's excited and happy to wear it each day. I hardly write reviews on the tons of things we purchase from amazon, but this has made such a positive difference in our lives, that it deserved the praise. I didn't get paid to write this, I paid full price and it was worth it!
